Fire Extinguishers (Portables) & Fire Suppressions Service Techs
Service Technician for Fire Extinguishers
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintenance, testing, and recharging of fire suppression systems, both permanent and portable, in commercial and institutional kitchens and businesses.
Maintain, repair, install, and assemble fire suppression systems in industrial and commercial environments.
Ensure that all work complies with the relevant NFPA and local code requirements.
Ensure that the work is accurately documented and that the findings, recommendations, and next steps are communicated to customers and internal teams.
Maintain a professional demeanor and customer-centric focus at all times while representing All Safe Fire Protection & Mechanical, Inc. on the job.
Work independently in the field and as a member of a team to ensure the safe and efficient completion of designated
Qualification:
Possess a minimum of two years' experience working with portable fire extinguishers.
Experience with NFPA standards is very desirable.
Prior knowledge of fire extinguishers is an asset
Troubleshooting skills.
Requires strong communication and teamwork abilities, as well as the ability to operate autonomously when necessary.
Reliable transportation to and from the workplace or office and a spotless driving record are prerequisites.
Must be able to adapt to unpredictable schedules that may take you out of town or into the evenings on occasion.
Must be able to demonstrate understanding of life safety procedures and concepts.
Ability to demonstrate understanding of applicable laws and regulations is essential.
You must be able to demonstrate that you understand the fundamentals of checking official documents for correctness and completeness.
The capacity to identify and document discrepancies via inspection programs is essential.
Must be able to read, understand, and articulate relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
The capacity to keep precise records and reports is necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to work with both external teams and internal customers
