Fire Sprinklers Estimators & Sales

The Fire Sprinkler Estimator & Sales position is in charge of assessing project requirements, drawings, and other paperwork to provide accurate cost estimates for fire sprinkler system installs, repairs, and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of fire safety systems, as well as the relevant industry norms and local construction requirements. They will also possess strong analytical and communication abilities, which are essential for collaborating with customers, contractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Evaluate the scope of fire sprinkler system installations or alterations by reviewing project plans, specifications, and drawings.
Determine the costs of the materials, labor, and equipment for projects including fire sprinklers.
Create and provide comprehensive proposals that include cost estimates, time estimates, and material and labor breakdowns.

Ensure that the project complies with the standards and regulations by determining the components, pipe diameters, fittings, and other materials that are necessary.

Verify that all plans and budgets are in accordance with fire safety rules, municipal ordinances, and NFPA standards.
​
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in codes, materials, and industry trends.
​
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to get equipment and material prices.
​
Maintain open lines of communication with customers and vendors to answer their inquiries and explain project specifications.
​
Assist the operations, sales, and design teams in understanding project requirements.
​
Complete and submit accurate estimates by the specified due dates for each bid.
​
Obtain the necessary permits and submittals.
​
Create progress reports and take an active role in brainstorming sessions.
​
Enter information into operating systems in a timely and correct manner.
​
Complete other tasks as directed.

Qualification Criteria:
Minimum of five years' experience in fire sprinkler system design or estimation is required.
NICET certificates in fire sprinkler systems or, alternatively, qualifications in an area linked to fire protection are preferable.
Proficiency in reading, understanding, and implementing the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) and the Building and Fire Code of 2025.
Proficient in mathematics.
Communication abilities that are exceptional both verbally and in writing.
Proven ability to work under pressure and finish tasks on schedule.
Maintaining a current driver's license and being able to drive to work places is required.
